The very popular forever stamp was re-issued on the 12th of May 2007. It has the advantage of being non-denominated and will always be honored for 1st class letters weighing one ounce or less regardless of subsequent increase in postage. The forever stamp can be used forever on a single piece 1st class letter and is a good thing for some people especially if you are good at keeping your stuff organized.

It is nice to save money and the biggest advantage of the forever stamp will be its convenience. Buying 2 or 3 cent stamps is not exactly expensive but having correct postage can be rare if you don’t use snail mail regularly. A trip to buy augmenting stamps is much of a hassle than is necessary for most people.

Do not just count on forever stamp making any real difference in your personal or business overhead costs; but, if you love convenience or live by the basic economic principle that a penny saved is a penny earned, you may however squirrel some away.
